In our view, computational science has mainly three aspects: Aspect I: Providing a TOOL for scientific research — Numerical or data-driven solutions. Aspect II: Serving as a scientific METHOD — Modeling and simulation. Aspect III: Exploring the computational NATURE of natural systems — How does nature compute? Holistorium focuses on the third aspect.
